We believe that a love of learning is a fundamental ingredient to a happy and healthy life. Literacy is the key to learning.

Little Readers of South Georgia’s primary purpose is to support childhood literacy and love of learning by coordinating with the Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library to provide one free book per month to any child from birth to age 5 in Echols County, Georgia.

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is “a book gifting program that mails free, high-quality books to children from birth until they begin school, no matter their family’s income.”   Little Readers is the local affiliate for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.
